How To Create A Clan On Destiny 2

Well you clicked here because you want to make a clan on Destiny! good for you because you came to the right place.

Here we go:

Step 1- Go to http://www.bungie.net/

Step 2- Click sign in at the top right corner

Step 3- Select your platform and sign in

Step 4- After you are signed in hover over the left side of your screen and find "Groups" then click it

Step 5- wait for it to load and press "Click here to start your own group"

Step 6- Scroll down and fill out the information for your new clan

Step 7- When finished select "create your group" at the very bottom
Step 8- After that you're finished, unfortunately you need to ask 3 of your friends to go on bungie.net ,find your destiny clan, and request to join it, then you must accept their request, and have them set it as their xbox/ps3 clan. when you have 3 Clan mates it will appear in game on your playercard .

Thank you for making this, however I have a question that I've asked on here and reddit and no one seems to be able to answer so hopefully you can. Where it says Clan ID, what exactly are you supposed to put there? Like what is the difference between Clans and Groups? And do you need a Group in order to make a Clan? All I want is to be able to have my Clan name above my head in game. Any help would be awesome.

Where it says clan ID its like a clan tag in cod and i think a group is the same thing as a clan its just a different name for it

They both show up. On your banner it says the clan name underneath your gamertag. In the post game carnage report it will display your Clan ID. Nothing shows up next to your gamertag in the actual game however.

you have to make sure you have 3 people(not including yourself) active in the clan. you can have 50 members but if none of them "set as xbox live clan" it wont show up as a clan. I had the same issue no one in my clan at first set as the active clan and we didn't show up as an actual clan. on your group page you should see how many members you have then it says "clanmates", that's how many people are active in the clan so that number as to be 3 or more.
